AI Model Notice

Q Edu may use on-device AI model files derived from Qwen/Qwen3.5-2B and Qwen/Qwen3.5-4B, depending on the installed model version.

Earlier versions of Q Edu used, and some app versions may optionally use, on-device model files from the Gemma family of models provided by Google (e.g. gemma-3n-E2B-it, Gemma 3 1B) via MediaPipe LLM Inference.

The model files used by the app may be adapted for English learning features using LoRA/QLoRA SFT, then merged, converted to GGUF, and quantized to Q4_K_M for on-device inference.

Where Gemma-family model files distributed with or downloaded by this app have been modified (e.g. fine-tuned, converted, or quantized), such files have been modified from the original models provided by Google.

Changes Made for This App

Adapted for English learning and speaking-practice features using LoRA/QLoRA SFT where applicable.
Merged adapter weights into model artifacts where applicable.
Converted model artifacts to GGUF format for local inference where applicable.
Quantized model artifacts to Q4_K_M or a similar deployment format to reduce size and improve on-device performance where applicable.
